Right behind the house you can start your hike. For example to the Hennenkobel mountain, with a magnificent view over the Bavarian Forest National Park to the Großer Arber. Or to the Stockauwiesen moorland, a protected nature reserve and a true natural gem.

Ski on natural snow
Only 100m away you will find the ski lift Rabenstein, ideal for beginners. Ski from Friday to Sunday in a relaxed and family atmosphere at fair prices and enjoy home-made baked goods in organic quality in the ski hut. A true journey through time for nostalgics and romantics.
Lots of snow on the trails
Directly above the house is the entrance to the approximately 65km of trails of the cross-country skiing center Zwiesel. From here, you can also reach the magnificent Kaisersteig cross-country ski trail in no time. Thanks to the altitude, this is not only particularly snow-sure, but also part of the 150 km long Bavarian Forest Trail - for the very ambitious among you.
